St. Audeon’s National School, Dublin was the venue for the presentation by Lion Hilary Moylan of Dublin Lions Club of 60 tablets and speakers to three schools to support the reading skills of pupils in primary schools. St Audeon’s have pioneered the use of the Accelerated Reading Programme

using tablets and e-learning software. In addition to St Audeon’s, the other schools to benefit are St Patrick’s School National School, Ringsend and the Central Model School. The three schools receiving the tables are DEIS schools – schools addressing the needs of children and young people from disadvantaged communities.
