One child goes blind every minute. Half-a-million children will have lost their sight by the end of the year. That is why LCIF partnered has with the World Health Organization (WHO) to address childhood blindness.
The Project for Elimination of Avoidable Childhood Blindness has established or strengthened 45 pediatric Lions eye care centers around the world. These centers deliver preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative eye care services to 140 million children.
